Well located for the Terminal
Search and compare
When it comes to parking your car at Birmingham International Airport the choices can be a little confusing. We make it easy to find and compare exactly what suits you. With Meet and Greet you drive to the terminal building and are met right outside by a fully insured driver. You then walk into check-in from there. Your car is securely parked and returned to you when you land back at Birmingham.
Park and Ride is the most economical way to park. Drive to the car park and catch a free shuttle to the terminal. Journey times from all car parks on Birminghamparking.com is less than 15 minutes. Short to Medium term Park and Walk is also available. Drive to the terminal and park in the car park, then walk into the terminal. This option is best for shorter trips and is often the most expensive.
"The location and convenience of car park 5 works strongly in it's favour. It's good to take a 5 - 10 minute stroll to the terminal, or alternatively get the shuttle bus. The car park was very full when I used it in September and again in October, and quite hard to find a place. My main gripe is price - the charges for a few days stay is pretty steep and not especially good value. It seems the pricing is aimed at pushing parking further away from the terminal, which works against using Birmingham as an airport of choice. A pity."
Meet and Greet is a simple and straight forward parking option. You just need to follow the signs for Departures once you reach the airport. Carry on to the departure lanes and park up. Your designated driver will be looking out for you when you arrive. Complete a vehicle inspection with your driver and then make your way straight into the check-in zone. On your return your car will be delivered to you back outside the terminal.
If you are looking for the most economical way to park at the airport then you should opt for a Park and Ride package. Drive yourself to the car park and enter through the barrier. Park your car then catch a free courtesy shuttle bus to the terminal building. When you get back to the airport walk outside and take the shuttle bus back to the car park.
The Birmingham Airport's Short and Medium Stay car parks offer Park and Walk packages for maximum convenience while still parking your own car. The car parks are located across from the terminal building so once you have parked you can just walk over to the check-in area. Park your own car and keep your keys. This service does tend to be the most expensive option.
