There are several hotels located in and around the airport that offer good quality, affordable accommodation for guests traveling in or out of Birmingham Airport. All hotels that are featured on Birminghamparking.com provide park and fly package deals, also referred to as stay and park deals.
Birminghamparking.com compares all airport hotels with onsite and offsite parking. Onsite parking means that you drive to the hotel and then park your car in the hotel car park for the duration of your trip. You then make your way to the terminal building either on foot or by shuttle bus (depending on the hotel you are staying at) and return to the hotel when you get back from your trip.
Offsite parking means that you stay overnight in a hotel but leave your car at an airport parking compound. This will either invlove driving to the car park the night before you fly and catching a courtesy bus back to the airport, or leaving your car in the hotel car park for one night and driving to the car park in the morning. It boils down to whatever works best for you.
Hotel 'Park and Fly' allows you the option to combine airport parking with an overnight stay near to Birmingham International Airport. This is ideal if you have an early or late flight, or if you simply wish to take advantage of cut price parking deals as the hotel will often subsidise the parking cost.
"The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was fine and the breakfast was very good. It was suggested that we check the route to the monorail station the evening before and this was useful in saving time in the morning. It was about a 4-5 minute walk. We appreciated the understanding attitude of the reception staff and the offer of a hot drink when we arrived at Birmingham airport a day late after our flight was diverted to Manchester because of snow. Very good value. Would stay again and have already recommended it to friends. The only negative is that we found the hotel quite difficult to find arriving in darkness."
